PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus which improves the image quality of images continuing in the z-direction.SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus is equipped with: an X-ray data acquisition means which acquires projection data of X rays transmitting through a subject in a middle position while rotating an X-ray generating device and an X-ray detector opposed to the X-ray generating device for detecting the X rays about the center of rotations in the middle position between the X-ray generating device and the X-ray detector an image reconstructing means for reconstructing a tomographic image by using the acquired projection data an image generating means for generating an image continuing in the z-direction which is the travelling direction of a cradle where the subject is placed by using the tomographic image and an image display device for displaying the images continuing in the z-direction.
