PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold reserving tool and a heat reserving tool in which the hardness and repulsive property are adequately adjusted from the viewpoint in which the head and the neck or the foot are stably retained and the extent cooling the head and the neck or warming the foot is adequately adjusted from the viewpoint transferring to a sleeping condition and to provide a pillow, a foot-warming tool and a face mask using those.SOLUTION: The cold reserving material or the heat reserving material is obtained by using gel containing a latent heat storing agent. In the cold reserving material, the melting point of the latent heat storing agent is kept to 5-20°C and the content of the latent heat storing agent is 20-60 wt.% based on total amount of gel and when the temperature of the gel containing the latent heat storing agent is set to 5°C and allowed to stand under the atmosphere of 26°C, the gel is kept for at least 2 hr in the range of 5-20°C and compressive stress is set to 10-90 kPa and hysteresis loss is set to 20-50% when the temperature of the gel containing the latent heat storing agent is set to 5°C.COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI【課題】 本発明の目的は、頭部や頸部、または足部を安定して保持するという観点からその硬さや反発性が適度に調節され、かつ、頭部や頸部を冷やしたり、足部を温めたりする程度が、睡眠状態へと移行するという観点から適度に調節されてなる保冷具および保温具と、それらを用いた枕、足温具およびフェイスマスクを提供する。【解決手段】 潜熱蓄熱剤を含有するゲルを用いた保冷材または保温材であって、例えば保冷材については、潜熱蓄熱剤の融点を5~20℃とし、その含有割合を、潜熱蓄熱剤を含有するゲルの総量に対して20~60重量%とし、潜熱蓄熱剤を含有するゲルの温度を5℃に設定してから26℃の雰囲気下で放置した場合に、当該ゲルが5~20℃の範囲内で少なくとも2時間維持され、かつ、潜熱蓄熱剤を含有するゲルの温度を5℃に設定したときの圧縮応力を10~90kPa、ヒステリシスロスを20~50%となるように設定する。【選択図】 なし
