The compounds according to the invention act as V1a receptor modulators and are useful as therapeutics acting peripherally and centrally in the conditions of dysmenorrhea, male or female sexual dysfunction, hypertension, chronic heart failure, inappropriate secretion of vasopressin, liver cirrhosis, nephrotic syndrome, anxiety, depressive disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, autistic spectrum disorders, schizophrenia, and aggressive behavior.본 발명은 스피로-다이하이드로테트라아자벤조아줄렌 유도체, 즉 하기 화학식 I의 스피로-5,6-다이하이드로-4H-2,3,5,10b-테트라아자-벤조[e]아줄렌 유도체에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 화합물은 V1a 수용체 조절제로서 작용하며, 월경통, 여성 또는 남성의 성 기능장애, 고혈압, 만성 심부전, 부적절한 바소프레신 분비, 간경화증, 신증후군, 불안증, 우울 장애, 강박 장애, 자폐 스팩트럼 장애, 정신분열증 및 공격성 행동의 증상에서 말초적 및 중추적으로 작용하는 치료제로서 유용하다:화학식 I상기 식에서,R1, R2, R3, X, Y, Z, m 및 n은 본원에 기재된 바와 같다.
