The present invention concerns an applicator for generating and applying pesticidal foam for the control of pests and methods of use thereof. The pesticidal foam is generated within the applicator, which has a pesticidal composition inlet, a gas inlet, a mixing chamber in which gas and pesticidal composition are mixed to generate the pesticidal foam, a gas inlet valve for controlling foam consistency and an outlet through which the pesticidal foam is discharged.
