PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of displaying a photoacoustic image for supporting diagnosis by means of an ultrasonic image, while suppressing inhibition of diagnosis due to the ultrasonic image.SOLUTION: The apparatus includes display control means 153 which displays a moving image of an ultrasonic image on a first display area in display means 160.
