The present invention provides a use of a compound of Formula 1 for inducing differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into cartilage cells, and a pharmaceutical composition for treatment of cartilage disease which comprises cartilage cells that are differentiation-induced from mesenchymal stem cells by the compound of Formula 1. Mesenchymal stem cells treated by the compound of Formula 1 are specifically differentiation-induced into cartilage cells, and thus cartilage disease such as arthritis, cartilage damage, and cartilage defect can be treated effectively by using this compound.La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'un composé de formule 1 pour induire la différenciation de cellules souches mésenchymateuses en cellules de cartilage, et une composition pharmaceutique pour le traitement d'une maladie du cartilage qui comprend des cellules de cartilage dont la différenciation a été induite à partir de cellules souches mésenchymateuses par le composé de formule 1.
