The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating cardiovascular diseases of fenofibric acid. More specifically, fenofibric acid does not induce toxicity to cells, thereby being stable, and also inhibits the migration and proliferation of a vascular smooth muscle cell induced by a platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), thereby being able to be usefully used as the composition for preventing and treating cardiovascular diseases.본 발명은 페노피브락산(fenofibric acid)의 심혈관 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더 자세하게는 페노피브릭산은 세포에 독성을 유발시키지 않아 안정성이 있으며, 혈소판 유래 성장인자 (PDGF)로 유도한 혈관 평활근 세포의 이동 및 증식을 억제함으로써 심혈과 질환의 예방 및 치료용 조성물로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
