PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion composition to formulate ascorbic acid-2-phosphate magnesium salt and/or ascorbic acid 2-glucoside in high concentration.
SOLUTION: The oil-in-water type emulsion composition comprises (A) an ascorbic acid-2-phosphate magnesium salt and/or ascorbic acid 2-glucoside, (B) a polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, (C) a sorbitan fatty acid ester, (D) a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, (E) a sterol and/or a polyoxyethylene sterol and (F) N-(2-hydroxy-3-hexadecyloxypropyl)-N-2-hydroxyethyl hexadecanamide and/or cerebroside.
