This nurse call system is provided with a nurse call device and a control appliance. The nurse call device includes a transmission switch, a nurse call communication unit for performing wireless communication with the control appliance, a nurse call control unit which transmits a call request via the nurse call communication unit when the transmission switch is operated, and a power supply battery. The control appliance includes an appliance communication unit which receives the call request transmitted from the nurse call device, an appliance control unit which controls communications with the nurse call device by the appliance communication unit, and a condition determining unit which acquires condition information indicating the condition of a user, and determines the condition of the user from the condition information.
