A portable fluid dispensing apparatus has a reservoir, a dispenser, and a pumpforpressurizing the fluid in the reservoir. The dispenser may be a spray wand.The pump is ahands-free pump such that an operator can hold a dog with one hand, the spraywand with theother hand, and yet still operate the pump, as by using a foot pedal. Theapparatus isself-contained, such that there is no need for an external water or electricalpower hook-up.
