PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling Fusarium disease by means of not using agricultural chemicals because it is difficult to use a large amount of agricultural chemicals to control the disease even though there is the problem that plants are damaged by frequently occurring soil-borne diseases, especially Fusarium disease, in the cultivation of plants.SOLUTION: A device which has LEDs capable of emitting a single light beam of blue light, green light, yellow light, or red light, or a composite light beam of them irradiates a plant with the single light beam or the composite light beam at night or in darkness to promote an increase in the phenol content in the leaves of the plant and to make the plant resistant to Fusarium disease.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】植物の栽培において土壌伝染性病害、特にフザリウム病の多発による被害が問題になっているが、農薬の大量使用が困難であるため、農薬を用いない手段によるフザリウム病防除方法を提供する。【解決手段】LEDの青色光、緑色光、黄色光、赤色光の単独光又は、複合光線を有する装置にて、夜間または、暗黒時に当該単独光又は、当該複合光線を植物に照射し当該植物の葉体内にフェノール含有量を増加を促し、フザリウム病に耐性のある植物体とする。【選択図】図1
