PURPOSE: A planting foundation ash for water purification is provided to enhance the removal efficiency of nitrogen component in waste water because two planting foundation ash selected from complex filter ash, orchid stone and activated charcoal are used in the planting foundation ash. CONSTITUTION: A planting foundation ash for water purification in which contaminants of waste water are purified while passing through the ash makes it possible to secure drinking water. The planting foundation ash (20) has complex filter ash (21) and orchid stone (22). The planting foundation ash is configured downwards from the planted surface with successively a first layer of the complex ash, a second layer of the activated charcoal, and third layer of the orchid stone.본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 수질정화용 식재기반재는, 오폐수가 저류하고 통과하면서 오폐수의 오염물질을 정화하며 식수(植樹)의 생육을 가능하게 하는 식재기반여재가 마련되며, 식재기반여재는 복합여재, 휴가토 및 활성탄 중 선택된 2가지의 식재기반여재로 구성될 수 있다. 복합여재, 휴가토 및 활성탄 중 선택된 2가지 식재기반재를 선정하여 혼합 사용함으로써, 오폐수의 질소 성분의 제거효율을 종래보다 향상시키거나, 인 성분의 제거효율을 종래보다 향상시킬 수 있으며, 화학적 산소요구량(COD)의 수치를 현저히 감소시킬 수 있다.
