PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfume delivery system suitable for delivering the perfume on a surface of a matrix.SOLUTION: A benefit agent delivery system is formed by separately adding a certain kind of primary amine compound and a selected type of benefit agent, e.g. the perfume in a form of an aldehyde or ketone to a liquid or granular matrix. When a substrate surface is treated with an aqueous solution or dispersion of the delivery system, the benefit agent is indirectly exposed to and preferably deposited on the substrate surface in such a manner that the benefit agent provides an effect thereof to the surface for a longer period of time than when the amine compound is not present.
