A photosensitive pressure alarm device for electric cleaning care appliances comprising: an optical sensing portion which consist of at least one light source (172, 272, 572) and at least one photosensitive unit (171, 271, 571); light reflecting surfaces (141, 241, 541) facing the light source (172, 272, 572) and the photosensitive unit (171, 271, 571); a detection circuit; and an alarm portion. The light source (172, 272, 572) and the photosensitive unit (171, 271, 571) are provided on a movable component which is movable relative to a handle housing (201) or on a fixed component which is fixed relative to the handle housing (201); and the light source and the photosensitive unit are located on a same side; the light reflecting surfaces (141, 241, 541) are provided on the side of the fixed component or the movable component facing the light source (172, 272, 572) and the photosensitive unit (171, 271, 571), and are approximately directly opposite to the light source (172, 272, 572) and the photosensitive unit (171, 271, 571). Under the combined action of an external force (F1) and an elastic force (F2) that is generated by a built-in elastic part in a handle (1) to resist the external force (F1), the light source (172, 272, 572) and the photosensitive unit (171, 271, 571) or the light reflecting surfaces (141, 241, 541) provided on the movable component can move along with the movable component; by changing the incident angles and the reflection angles of the light rays emitted from the light source (172, 272, 572) on the light reflecting surfaces (141, 241, 541), the light receiving area of the photosensitive unit (171, 271, 571) capable of receiving the light rays changes, causing the electrical properties of the photosensitive unit (171, 271, 571) to change.
