Method for imaging an organ (H) of a human or animal body (K) comprises rotating a recording device (1) during a first movement phase so that images of the organ are recorded from angled positions of a first angle region (alpha n) with a nominal angle speed and delaying the recording device during a second movement phase directly following the first movement phase. The recording device reaches the nominal angle speed at the end of the first angle region at the start of a first movement phase. An independent claim is also included for a device for imaging an organ of a human or animal body. Preferred Features: Each angle position differs by a constant differential angle which is adjusted via an image recording rate of the recording device.
