PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the power of soil which is lowered by a chemical fertilizer, an agrochemical, or the like. SOLUTION: The subject green cup is obtained by mixing beer lees, coffee lees, soy sauce lees, fish refuse, papermaking sludge, wood pieces, chips, sludge, or the like, with quicklime and starch paste, fermenting/drying the mixture and forming into a cup shape with a pressing machine. By filling soil into the cup for growing seedlings of a vegetable, the seedling is transplanted to a field together with the cup. Thereby, the growth of the vegetable is very good without having a damage to its root, with the decomposition of the green cup to return to the soil and become an organic fertilizer.
