PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for preventing and exterminating aquatic life which achieve sure prevention and extermination of aquatic life by a physical technique without using a toxic substance, complicated and advanced control or a large-scale apparatus and which enable an existing flow channel to be used as it is or after subjected to simple modification.SOLUTION: A zone where the aquatic life 1 to be prevented/exterminated lives is sealed hermetically and the amount of the gas to be dissolved in the water 4 in the hermetically-sealed zone 3 is increased to increase the amount of the gas to be dissolved in the body of the aquatic life 1.
