FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to dental paste and related methods and kit. Disclosed is a dental paste containing: (i) a compound of formula I:wherein: R1 is C1-C2 alkyl group, and R2 is C(O)R3, where R3 is C7-C9 alkyl group and n is integer 4； (ii) a compound of formula II or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:wherein: R4 represents a hydrogen atom or C1-C12 alkyl group and m denotes integer 4； and (iii) dental abrasive. Invention also discloses a method for treating a surface in an oral cavity of a subject and a method of inhibiting biofilm formation on a surface in an oral cavity of a subject, each of which involves the stage of application of said dental paste on the surface in the oral cavity of the individual.
