The present invention addresses the problem of simplifying the structure and reducing the number of components by having a wing act also as a safety cover and of solving the inconvenience of operating of the wing or the safety cover causing the other to interfere with said operation. The solution is a winged injection needle (1) which comprises an injection needle main body (2) a base (3) which supports a base end of the injection needle main body (2) and a wing (4) which protrudes toward the left and right sides from the base (3) and functions as a handle wherein the wing (4) is composed using a plate member which is foldable via hinges (4a 4b 4c). In a folded state the wing protrudes toward the left and right sides from the base (3) to function as a handle and in an expanded state the wing extends along the injection needle main body (2) from the base (3) toward the injection needle distal end side and functions as a safety cover that covers the injection needle main body (2).
