PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure a space for a pocket for storing an inner pad.SOLUTION: The tape type disposable diaper includes an absorbent body 10, a pocket-forming part 20, and first fastening tapes 30. The pocket-forming part includes a pocket-forming sheet 21 stuck to the inner face of the absorbent body, and an auxiliary sheet 22 superposed on the pocket-forming sheet. The pocket-forming sheet has a sticking part 21a facing the inner face of the absorbent body, formed to define the circumference of the pocket for forming the pocket with a crotch part side used as an opening. The auxiliary sheet has an inner edge connecting part 22a to be connected to an inner edge of pocket-forming sheet in the crotch part side, and side edge connecting parts 22b to be connected to both left/right side edges of the pocket-forming sheet. The first fastening tapes 30 are fixed to at least one of the pocket-forming sheet and the auxiliary sheet and extend from both left/right side edges.
