The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating ischemic diseases comprising liposomes in which vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-derived peptides are supported. The composition for preventing or treating ischemic diseases comprises liposomes containing VEGF-derived peptides supported therein, wherein the liposomes have an average particle size of 90-110 nm and a particle size distribution of 50-200 nm, and are surface-modified with polyethylene glycol. The composition according to the present invention can increase absorption of VEGF significantly as compared to the treatment with VEGF alone, and thus is effective for treatment of ischemic diseases, such as myocardial infarction, stenosis of cerebral arteries, limb ischemia and cerebral infarction.본 발명은 VEGF(혈관내피세포 성장인자； Vascular endothelial growth factor) 유래 펩타이드가 담지된 리포좀을 포함하는 허혈성 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 VEGF 유래 펩타이드가 담지되어 있으며, 평균 입자크기가 90 내지 110 nm로, 50 내지 200 nm의 입자분포를 가지며, 표면이 폴리에틸렌 글리콜로 개질되어 있는 리포좀을 포함하는 허혈성 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물은 VEGF 단독 처리에 비해 VEGF 흡수를 현저하게 증가시킬 수 있으므로, 심근경색, 중뇌동맥협착 질환, 하지허혈 및 뇌경색 등의 허혈성 질환을 효과적으로 치료할 수 있다.
