The system for detecting an abnormal status of a user based on a bio-signal and a wearable device comprises: the wearable device measuring the bio-signal and a movement signal of the user, and transmitting the measured signals to the outside； and an abnormal status detecting and displaying device receiving and processing the signal transmitted from the wearable device, and detecting and displaying the abnormal status of the user.본 발명은 웨어러블 디바이스를 이용하여 측정한 생체 신호를 기반으로 하여 운전자의 이상 상태를 사전에 분류 및 검출하여 운전자 및 동승자에게 알려줌으로써 사고를 미연에 방지할 수 있는 생체신호와 웨어러블 디바이스 기반의 사용자 이상상태 검출 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명은 운전자의 이상 상태를 사전에 검출하고 이를 운전자 및 동승객에게 알려주어 운전자의 이상 상태를 사전에 통보 받아 휴식이나 실내 환기 등 적절한 조치가 취해지도록 함으로써 이상 상태로 인한 교통사고를 예방하여 사고로 인한 인적 및 물적 손실을 줄일 수 있는 효과가 있다.
