PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial cleaner for contact lenses that is safe and antibacterial with high detergency for the contact lenses using polyoxyethylene alkyl (C
8-22 ) ether sulfate.SOLUTION: The antibacterial cleaner for contact lenses includes 0.01-3 wt.% of polyoxyethylene alkyl (C8-22) ether sulfate whose mean mole number of oxyethylene is 1-2.5 and water. Further, the cleaner is characterized by adding 10-50 wt.% of glycerine or propylene glycol and 0.05-3 wt.% of boracic acid or the salt.
