The present invention relates to a liquid pharmaceutical compositioncomprising a follicle stimulating hormonepolypeptide and benzalkonium chloride and benzyl alcohol as preservatives. Thecomposition further comprises optionally one ormore other pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. In one embodiment, thecomposition contains methionine as an antioxidant.The composition shows a good storage stability and is especially useful forthe prophylaxis and treatment of disorders and medicalindications where follicle stimulating hormone preparations are considered asuseful remedies.
