PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood coagulation retardant that has anti-thronbotic action, can be mass-produced in an industrial scale with an constant quality, and can inexpensively be provided as beverage, portable concentrate for a portion type drink, supplement, medicine or the like and provide a method for producing the same.
SOLUTION: A plant material including chlorogenic acid, for example, an extract from coffee beans after undergoing decaffeination is hydrolytically treated by using chlorogenase and the resultant enzymatically treated extract is used as a main component to prepare the blood coagulation retardant.
