PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of an increase in cost of a rotary ring and prolongation of a delivery date when the rotary ring constituting a rotary radiotherapy apparatus is formed to have a single-circle and integral structure.SOLUTION: This rotary radiotherapy apparatus is so constituted that two arcuate members 3a and 3b having a central angle of 180° between them are connected to form the rotary ring 3, the rotary ring 3 is disposed rotatably about a central axis, the rotary ring 3 is supported and actuated by rollers 4 abutting on portions between adjacent connection portions 18 of the rotary ring 3, particle-beam heads 9a and 9b are attached to the rotary ring 3 via a frame so as to radiate the particle beams toward the central axis.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】回転照射治療装置を構成する回転リングを一円一体構造物とした場合に、回転リングのコストが高くなり、納期が長くなるという問題があった。【解決手段】中心角度が180°である二つの円弧状部材3a、3bを結合して回転リング3を形成し、回転リング3を中心軸の周りに回転可能に配置し、ローラー4により回転リング3の隣接する結合部18間に当接して回転リング3を支持、駆動し、回転リング3にフレームを介して粒子線照射ヘッド9a、9bが取り付けられ、中心軸に向って粒子線を照射するように回転照射治療装置を構成した。【選択図】図3
