This present invention relates to a novel pharmaceutical composition containing a combination of a NSAID and an anti-spasmodic drug, useful for the treatment of muscle spasms and associated pain, soreness and tightness of muscles in mammalian organism, comprising therapeutically effective amount of, (i) delayed release NSAID for reducing the gastrointestinal complications associated with the use of NSAID (ii) an immediate release anti-spasmodic drug for rapid relief of pain.
