The intraocular lens includes a soft optical component and at least one rigid plate-type haptic component connected to the optical component. At least one rigid plate-type haptic component comprises a rigid structure. The at least one rigid plate-type haptic component can withstand bending due to pressure applied to the tip of the at least one haptic component by contraction of the ciliary muscle. The intraocular lens is a non-adjustable IOL that has a fixed longitudinal length and is configured to withstand deformation due to the action of the ciliary muscle.
