A catheter (10) is provided with: a main lumen (20) which is disposed so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the catheter (10) and a sub-lumen (30) which is formed to have a diameter smaller than that of the main lumen (20) and is disposed around the main lumen (20) so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the catheter (10). The catheter (10) is also provided with an operation wire (40) which is slidably inserted in the sub-lumen (30) and is affixed to a distal end section (15) which is the tip section of the catheter (10). A coil (50) consisting of an elastic body is wound around the sub-lumen (30).
