PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield heat-radiation structure of an insertion part of an endoscope capable of electromagnetically shielding an image pickup element provided in the insertion part by a shield member and highly efficiently radiating heat of the image pickup element using the shield member.SOLUTION: The shield heat-radiation structure includes: an objective lens system 41 that is provided in a distal end 18 of an insertion part 12 extending forward from an operation unit 11 and exposed at the surface of the distal end a metal shield member 22 that is disposed in the distal end, formed into a cylindrical shape extending in the axial direction of the insertion part and having both open ends, and is grounded and conducted to a ground circuit 30 and an image pickup element 27 that includes, at the front face, an image pickup surface 28 for capturing an image of an observation image transmitting through the objective lens, and a plurality of ground terminals 27 conducted to an internal circuit of the self and radially protruding from the outer peripheral surface, and that is disposed inside the shield member.
