Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Zusammensetzungen, enthaltend Recycling-Transferproteine für strukturell / funktionell veränderte Lipide, ein Lipiddepot aus strukturell nicht veränderten Lipiden und nicht transferierbare Wirkstoffe. Derartige Zusammensetzungen können zum Engineering von Biomembranen, z. B. durch äußere topische Anwendung, insbesondere auf Haut / Schleimhaut, eingesetzt werden. Dabei werden strukturell bzw. funktionell, vor allem oxidativ veränderte Lipide aus den diese enthaltenden Strukturen wie z. B. Lipidaggregaten der Haut entfernt, extern in einem Depot regeneriert und vorzugsweise wieder in die Strukturen zurückgeführt. Es handelt sich also um ein Recycling veränderter Lipide aus Biomembranen.
