FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely neuroangiology, cardiovascular surgery, rehabilitology. Spinal subclavian steal syndrome is diagnosed by results of ultrasonic scanning. At preoperative stage patients life quality is assessed by life quality questionnaire. High life quality is determined at 0-2 points and zero stage of syndrome. Easy disorder of life quality is at 3-10 points and first stage of syndrome. Moderate disorder of life quality is at 10-15 points and second stage of syndrome. Severe disorder of life quality is at 16-24 points and third stage of syndrome. According to subjective criteria steal syndrome clinical type is defined: 1 type - asymptomatic course 2 type - with prevailing symptoms of upper extremity ischemia 3 type - with prevailing symptoms of cerebral ischemia 4 type - without predominant symptoms. Volume of preoperative preparation is defined: at steal syndrome of 1-2 type and 0-1 stage special preparation is not required, at steal syndrome of 3-4 type and 2-3 stage course of neuroangiotropic therapy is included in preoperative preparation complex. One month after surgery life quality is assessed by life quality questionnaire. If 2-3 stage of syndrome is determined, control ultrasonic examination is made. In presence of recurrent steal syndrome repeated surgical treatment is made.
