The present invention relates to a variable low frequency device for relieving pain in muscles and joints, comprising: a low frequency generator generating a low frequency current； and a contact pad attached to skin to deliver the low frequency current generated from the generator to the human body. A plurality of pairs of contact pad combination terminals, separated from each other, are installed on the lower surface of the low frequency generator to emit a generated low frequency current. A plurality of contact pads are installed to be combined with the contact pad combination terminals, respectively. A low frequency generator combination terminal, which is combined with the contact pad combination terminals to be rotatable and is electrically connected with the contact pad combination terminals, is installed on a side the contact pads to deliver the low frequency current from the contact pad combination terminals to the human body.
