PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dye composition which enables color development of a stabilized finishing color immediately after dyeing the hair in hair dyeing with the use of henna.SOLUTION: The hair dye composition is prepared by incorporating 0.0075-0.015 pts.wt. titanium dioxide powder on the surface of which calcium phosphate fine particles and silk fine particles have been adsorbed into 100 pts.wt. henna powder. The amount of the calcium phosphate fine particles is set at 0.1-25 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the titanium dioxide and the amount of the silk fine particles is set at 0.1-2.5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the titanium dioxide. One or more of a natural indigo powder, a turmeric powder, a walnut shell grain, a tea leaf powder, a rose powder, a persimmon leaf powder, a coffee bean powder, a lemon peel powder, and an HC dye powder are further incorporated in this hair dye composition.
