PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical opening/closing forceps in which opening/closing pieces can be opened/closed without pressing a wire for operating the opening/closing pieces toward an opening/closing one side.
SOLUTION: The medical opening/closing forceps include: a pair of the opening/closing pieces 32, 37 operation means 13, 15 for pulling one of a first traction wire and a second traction wire toward a proximal end side and, at the same time, allowing the other to be pulled toward distal end side and power transmission mechanisms 18, 29, 36, 41 and W3 which connect the distal end parts of the first traction wire and the second traction wire to a pair of the opening/closing pieces, and which pull the second traction wire to the distal end side and move both opening/closing pieces in the closing direction when the first traction wire is pulled to the proximal end side, and which pull the first traction wire to the distal end side, and move both of the opening/closing pieces in the opening direction when the second traction wire is pulled to the proximal end side.
