PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden on the waist of a wearer.SOLUTION: A mounting type action assisting device 10 includes a drive mechanism 15 which drives a waist frame 30 mounted to the waist of a wearer 12, or the thigh of the wearer 12. The waist frame 30 includes a waist support 50 which abuts on the waist of the wearer 12 when the frame is mounted to the waist of the wearer 12. A stomach support 60 is abutted on ribs and ilia of the wearer 12. The waist support 50 and the stomach support 60 are connected by a connection member 70 arranged at both right and left sides. The drive mechanism 15 simultaneously drives the drive torque of drive motors 20, 22 so that the waist support 50 and the stomach support 60 are driven backward when a heavy object is lifted.
