A unit for making seed tapes is made as a frame, on which a tape conveyer is mounted, as feeding mechanisms of the upper and lower tapes, seeds and a mechanism for fixing the tapes, a drive, mounting and fixing elements. The lower tape is made as a pleated tape with periodical semi-circular cuts, the distance between which is equal to the distance between grains while sowing into the soil, said tape is winded onto a drum, which is mounted on an axle, from below of a left vertical leg of a belt conveyer on a bracket in such a manner as to allow rolling, and the upper smooth tape is mounted from above the right vertical leg of the belt conveyer in a hank on the axle in such a manner as to allow rolling, and on the bracket under the hank of the smooth tape a forming tooth tool is mounted. The teeth therein are made evenly around a circle, and a distance between the teeth is equal to the distance between neighboring seeds, arranged on the lower pleated tape, and on the left end above the belt conveyer a single-seed drill with a unit for laying the seeds onto pleated lower tape is rigidly mounted on the bracket.
