The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts of resorcinol derivatives as Hsp90 inhibitors. The compound of the invention has the activity of inhibiting heat shock protein Hsp90. The compounds of the present invention are thus used for the treatment of proliferative diseases and neurodegenerative diseases such as cancer.
