Compositions and methods useful for personal care compositions are provided. The composition comprises (a) a cationic polymer, (i) 30-80% by weight cationic monomer, (ii) 10-65% by weight (meth) acrylamide monomer, and (iii) 0-30. A cationic polymer comprising polymerized units derived from a polar nonionic derivative of acrylic monomer by weight%, and (b) silicone. Also provided is a method of treating hair with the composition.
