PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article containing a polymer absorption agent having a carboxyl group, excellent in antibacterial property and liquid absorption property.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises: a liquid permeable sheet 3； a liquid impermeable sheet 5； and an absorbent core 11 arranged between the liquid permeable sheet 3 and the liquid impermeable sheet 5. In the absorbent article 1, the absorbent core 11 contains a polymer absorption agent 17 having a carboxyl group.
