PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper capable of surely preventing a fastening base material from being slipped off from a hand when wearing a diaper.
SOLUTION: This disposable diaper includes left/right fastening members 12 at both of the left/right side edges in the back side of a diaper body 11. The fastening member 12 includes a fastening base material 21, attachment elements 22, and slip-prevention elements 23. At least the external surface-side front face of each slip prevention element 23 is formed of a material having a friction coefficient larger than that of a material (for example, a non-woven fabric) forming the fastening base material 21, and the slip prevention elements are provided on the external surface sides of the respective tongue pieces 212 of the left/right fastening base materials 21 at least at external-side end areas in the lateral direction X.
