The present invention relates to a vehicle seat, in particular for a passenger car, having a seat part, a back part which is rotatably connected thereto and a fitting for adjusting the angle between the seat part and the back part, wherein the fitting comprises a first fitting part which is fixedly connected to a structure of the seat part, and a second fitting part (2) which is rotatable with respect to the first fitting part and which is fixedly connected to a structure (1) of the back part, wherein the first fitting part is connected both in a positively locking and frictionally locking or materially joined fashion to the structure of the seat part, and/or the second fitting part (2) is connected both in a positively locking and frictionally locking or materially joined fashion to the structure (1) of the back part.
