PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein in the case of displaying tissue of an embryo or the like, tissue as an obstacle on this side of the tissue is also imaged together.SOLUTION: The size of opacity is corrected according to the distance from an operation start surface 40. A plurality of visual lines penetrate a region of interest 13, and on the respective visual lines, voxel operation is sequentially performed voxel by voxel from the operation start point to the inmost side. In that case, in the range defined by a distance &alpha, the correcting processing is applied to increase the opacity gradually from the operation start point, so that while imaging of the placenta 10 is avoided as much as possible, the surface of the embryo 12 can be displayed more clearly.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】胎児等の組織を三次元画像として表示する場合に組織の手前側にある障害物としての組織も一緒に画像化されてしまうという問題があった。【解決手段】演算開始面40からの距離に応じてオパシティの大きさを補正するようにする。関心領域13に対しては複数の視線が貫通しており、各視線上において演算開始点から奥側へ各ボクセルごとにボクセル演算が順次実行される。その場合において、距離αで定義される範囲においては演算開始点から徐々にオパシティが大きくなるように補正処理が適用されており、その結果、胎盤10の画像化をできる限り回避しつつ胎児12の表面をより明瞭に表示することが可能となる。【選択図】図3
