The invention relates to means for promoting human health and wellbeing by actively and directly acting on a plurality of acupuncture points located on the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands and on the toes and fingers and by massaging same, and at the same time relates to cosmetic and grooming means, to devices for massaging the body and to personal hygiene means, and more particularly to foot and hand care devices, and even more particularly to devices for removing dead skin and callouses from the feet and hands. The claimed multifunctional handheld massage and cleansing device comprises three working surfaces arranged at an angle to one another, the first, primary working surface being intended for massaging and cleansing the feet, palms, toes and fingers, and the second and third working surfaces, arranged at an acute angle to one another within a range of 15-30 degrees, being intended for massaging and cleansing the toes, the fingers and the regions of skin beneath and between the toes and fingers, wherein the first working surface is a serrated surface having bevels on two sides at an angle of 30-50 degrees, and the second and third working surfaces form an acute angle, wherein a rounded radius of 3-5 mm is provided at the point where the second and third working surfaces meet. The claimed device can be made of hard, natural volcanic pumice stone. The technical result is an effective and multifunctional device made of a natural material, which does not have a complex multi-component structure and yet provides an effective massage effect on acupuncture points that is comparable to the natural effect produced on the soles of the feet by walking, and which also exhibits an enhanced cleansing/peeling ability since it can be used to cleanse and massage not only the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands, but also the toes and fingers as well as the surfaces between and beneath the toes and fingers, while at the same time being highly safe to use sin
