The object of the present invention is to provide an anti-obesity agent which contains a tea-derived component and which is safe and does not compromise the flavor of foods and beverages. According to the present invention, a safe and palatable anti-obesity agent can be provided by incorporating a benzotropolone ring-containing compound which has tea-derived, high inhibitory activities against lipase and alfa-glucosidase. The anti-obesity agent of the present invention does not compromise the flavor of foods and beverage, has palatability, and can be used in various use applications including foods and beverages intended for health enhancement such as reduction in triglycerides.본 발명의 목적은 차 유래의 성분을 함유하는, 안전하고 향미를 손상시키는 경우가 없는 항비만제를 제공하는 것이다.본 발명에 의하면, 차 유래의 높은 리파아제 저해 활성 및 α-글루코시다아제 저해 활성을 갖는 벤조트로폴론 고리 함유 화합물을 함유함으로써, 안전하고 기호성이 높은 항비만제를 제공할 수 있다. 본 발명의 항비만제는 향미를 손상시키지 않고, 기호성이 높으며, 또한 중성 지방 저감 등의 건강 증진을 목적으로 한 음식료를 포함하는 여러 가지 용도에 이용할 수 있다.
