The catheter includes an elongated tubular body defining a longitudinal axis and extending to a distal end thereof, the tubular body having at least one lumen and a cuff disposed around the tubular body configured to contact tissue, the cuff formed from a plasma-treated material having enhanced tissue ingrowth properties.
