El Polipéptido comprende un epitope de la proteína E del virus del dengue de secuencia: VXᵃᵃ¹VLGSQEGAMHXᵃᵃ²ALTGATEXᵃᵃ³ (SEQ ID Nº 1) en donde Xᵃᵃ¹ es V o T, Xᵃᵃ² es T o S, y Xᵃᵃ³ es I o V, siempre que dicho polipéptido no comprenda ninguna porción de la proteína E del virus del dengue que incluya el epitope de SEQ ID Nº 1 y que tenga una longitud mayor a 21 aminoácidos.
