PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a healthcare professional to concentrate on the nursing work in such a range as not to prevent the healthcare professional from responding to a nurse call from a patient if the healthcare professional having a portable communication terminal receiving the nurse call enters a sickroom.SOLUTION: If the healthcare professional is called when the healthcare professional is in the sickroom, the portable communication terminal 20 the healthcare professional carries cancels the motion of a terminal announcing part 23 not to announce the call with sound or vibration. If the healthcare professional is called when the healthcare professional is out of the sickroom, the portable communication terminal 20 the healthcare professional carries activates the motion of the terminal announcing part 23 to announce the call with sound or vibration.
