PURPOSE: MRSA Bacillus methylotrophicus EML-CAP7 is provided to biologically control various plant diseases, and to be applicable to a various kinds of crops at the same time by spraying or flushing a culture medium or a culyure medium extract on plants. CONSTITUTION: Bacillus methylotrophicus EML-CAP7 (accession number: KCTC12116BP) is prepared. A composition for controlling plant diseases contains the Bacillus methylotrophicus EML-CAP7 (accession number: KCTC12116BP), a culture medium or a culture medium extract thereof. The plant diseases are one or more kinds selected from the group comprising of phytophthora blight, anthracnose, bacterial spot, blast disease, Heliminthosporium blight, and Fusarium wilt. The culture medium extract is obtained by extracting the culture medium using one kind alone or more than two kinds of organic solvents selected from C_1-4 alcohol, hexane, acetone, chloroform, and ethyl acetate.본 발명은 고추에서 내생세균으로 분리된 신규한 바실러스 메틸로트로피쿠스(Bacillus methylotrophicus) EML-CAP7, 이를 함유하는 식물병 방제용 조성물 및 식물병 방제방법에 관한 것으로, 상기 본 발명에 따른 신규한 바실러스 메틸로트로피쿠스 EML-CAP7 균주, 이의 배양액 또는 배양액 추출물을 식물체에 살포하거나 관주처리함으로써 다양한 식물병을 생물학적으로 방제할 수 있으며, 여러 작물에 동시에 적용가능 할 뿐 아니라 한 작물에서도 여러 병해에 대하여 효과를 동시에 발휘할 수 있어, 작물의 상품성 및 생산성을 증대시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
