The present invention provides a method for preparing omega-3 unsaturated fatty acid-containing powder comprising spray-drying of emulsion after the emulsion containing omega-3 unsaturated fatty acid is formed by using a combination of sucrose and dextrin； and omega-3 unsaturated fatty acid-containing powder obtained from the method therefor. According to the present invention, the method therefor is capable of forming emulsion having high thermal stability or low viscosity to allow emulsion to be exposed to a high temperature in a spray-drying process so as to solve a problem of blocking a nozzle or a sprayer.본 발명은 수크로오즈와 덱스트린의 조합을 사용하여 오메가-3 불포화 지방산을 함유하는 에멀젼을 형성시킨 후, 상기 에멀젼을 분무건조하는 것을 포함하는 오메가-3 불포화 지방산-함유 분말의 제조방법； 및 상기 제조방법으로부터 얻어진 오메가-3 불포화 지방산-함유 분말을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 제조방법은 열적 안정성이 높고 또한 낮은 점도를 갖는 에멀젼을 형성시킴으로써, 분무건조 과정에서 에멀젼이 고온에 노출되어 노즐 또는 분무기를 막는 문제점을 해결할 수 있다.
